Ottoman Sultans Tombs - Tucked around the back of Hagia Sophia. There are five tombs of Ottoman sultans: Sultan Selim II, Sultan Murad III, Sultan Mehmed III, Sultan Mustafa I, Sultan Ibrahim I.

Topkapi Palace - It was residence of the Ottoman sultans for almost 400 years. Palace complex consists of four main courtyards, important relics of the Muslim world, Muhamed’s clock and sword.

Istanbul, which served as the capital for a long time to the Ottoman Empire, has many important historical monuments belonging to the Ottoman Empire. Ottoman artifacts in Istanbul;

 

Topkapi Palace: It was a palace of great importance for Istanbul between the 15th and 19th centuries. In addition, the Holy Relics which were brought to Istanbul after the Egyptian conquest of Yavuz Sultan Selim, who is on display at the Topkapı Palace, are of particular importance.

 

Yedikule: The army returned from war with victory in Ottoman Empire and entered the city from the gate known as the Golden Gate of Yedikule together with the Sultan. There were 7 towers that could see this place and it was officially converted into an inner castle.

 

Anatolian fortress: Anadolu Hisarı, located in the Asian part of Boğaziçi, which is the only exit door of the Black Sea, was started in 1390 by Sultan Bayazıt's order.

 

Rumeli Fortress: It is a fortress built by Fatih Sultan Mehmet in order to prevent the arrival of help to the Byzantine pre-conquest.

 

Grand Bazaar: The Grand Bazaar, which is officially an underground city, has the distinction of being the oldest and largest historical bazaar in the world with over 60 streets and more than 3000 shops.

 

Spice Bazaar: It is the second biggest bazaar in Istanbul after the Grand Bazaar. It was built by Hatice Turhan Sultan IV as a foundation for Yeni Cami.

 

Maiden's Tower: The first place that comes to mind when it comes to Istanbul is the Maiden's Tower. It is a small tower built on the rocks at the entrance of the Bosphorus. In the past, it was also used as a watchtower and a lighthouse.

 

Galata Tower: It is a work that was inherited to the present day by the Genoese against the Byzantines.

 

Hagia Sophia Museum: It is seen as the first and last unique application in terms of architectural beauty and functionality. Hagia Sophia, which dates back to the Byzantine period, served as a church and was converted into a mosque after the conquest of Istanbul. After the proclamation of the Republic, it became a Museum and still serves as a museum.

 

Beyazit Square: It was once the largest square in Istanbul. According to historical sources, it is thought to have been made in 393.
