Hi Mehmet, yes I did enjoyed the day. I have some suggestions to improve the fishing: you should mention that the shripm flies should be used as well, and the usual Stillwater flies should be used as well such as streamers for the deep calm pools. Hope that helps. All the best for you!

“Nice trip”

We had a very nice trip to a small river with rainbow trout. They took dry flies and small nymphs. They were hard fiighters for the size. A nice experience in a hot country where you do not expect fly fishing for trout at all.

It was awsome. A lot of fish rising and you caught them on dryflies in small sizes. Size 16 and smaller. I would recommend waders since the water is very cold.
“Forel vliegvissen midden in de zomer!”

Deze tour is de enige die ik kon vinden in de buurt van Side en die gericht was op het vliegvissen. Ik wist niet dat het mogelijk was. We werden keurig op tijd opgehaald vanaf onze verblijfslocatie in een comfortabel busje (met airco!). Het was een prachtige ervaring gedurende een tocht van meer dan een uur naar het Taurusgebergte te worden gebracht naar de bovenloop van de Manavgat River. Prachtige omgeving en een schitterende rivier. Hoewel tegen beter weten in de trip midden in de zomer (>35graden) en met laag water is gedaan, bleek de gids goed te weten hoe de forel zich gedroeg, waar die te vangen was en wat het natuurlijke aas was in die tijd. Hieruit blijkt het voordeel dat hij zelf vliegvisser is. Er wordt echter slechts beperkt met de vlieg gevist in deze regio. Wel veel spinvissers die de gaten en pools afvissen.
Verrassend bleek er de marmorata forel te vangen te zijn naast ik denk de bruine forel. Uit nadere informatie van Google Earth blijkt dat er forellen tot 5 kilogram worden gevangen!
Toch verschillende forellen gevangen op lijntje 12/100 op nimf en later kleine droge vliegjes; de vissen zijn niet erg groot maar wel erg sterk.
Prachtige tocht en een leuke ervaring. Aanbevolen!

“Excellent day out in the mountains”

Although we caught no fish which was probably due to low water levels, the scenery was great and the guide really helpful and didn't mind taking us to different rivers. He would have been happy to take us to another one even when we finished! Thoroughly enjoyed the day.
“Wonderful time up in the Taurus mountains flyfishing”

We had a wonderful time up in the mountains, beautiful scenery and crystal clear water.
Our guide Özcan were really nice to us and we had a very safe and good journey in the mountains.
I you love photographing it is a perfect trip to take, you cant find much more beautiful places, the waterfalls and the high cliffs were stunning.
I can really recommend this trip, and if you dont do flyfishing you could bring a small spinning rod or such.
